Meeting of the Draft Budget and Auditing Commission, Istanbul, 2 March 2021
The meeting of the Draft Budget and Auditing Commission was held at the PABSEC International Secretariat on 2 March 2021. In accordance with the decision of the 56th PABSEC General Assembly, the Draft Budget and Auditing Commission was formed in the following composition: Ms. Anna Purtova, Head of the PABSEC Ukrainian Delegation, Mr. Andrea Marto, Head of the PABSEC Albanian Delegation, and Mr. Artak Manukyan, member of the PABSEC Armenian Delegation. Mr. Igor Becic, PABSEC Vice-President in charge of Financial Matters and the Head of the Serbian PABSEC delegation, also participated in the work of the Commission. Mr. Asaf Hajiyev, PABSEC Secretary General, Mr. Fuat Kucukaydin, Deputy Secretary General in charge of Administration and Financial Matters, and Ms. Sibel Sipahioglu Accountant Officer, assisted the members of the Commission in the work. Ms. Anna Purtova was elected as the Chairperson of the Commission. The members of the Commission discussed the implementation of the PABSEC budget in 2020 and adopted the Auditing Report. Taking into account the budget execution in 2020 and the international activities of the Assembly, the Draft Budget and Auditing Commission also prepared the draft Budget for the 2022 financial year, which will be submitted to the Meeting of the Standing Committee in the framework of the 57th General Assembly in June 2021. Mr. Manukyan took part in the meeting of the Draft Budget and Auditing Commission online. During the meeting, he noted that remote participation made it impossible to obtain sufficient information in order to approve the Auditing Report and the Draft Budget for 2022.
