Meetings of the Bureau of the Assembly and the PABSEC Standing Committee, 22 June 2021
The meetings of the Bureau of the Assembly and the Standing Committee were held online on 22 June 2021 under the Presidency of Ms. Zinaida Greceanii, PABSEC President, President of the Parliament of the Republic of Moldova. The Sixty-fourth meeting of the Bureau of the Assembly adopted: the Minutes of the Sixty-Third Meeting of the Bureau, draft Agenda of the Fifty-Seventh Meeting of the Standing Committee, draft Agenda of the Fifty-Seventh Plenary Session, draft Program of the Fifty-Seventh General Assembly, Matters of Procedure of the Fifty-Seventh Plenary Session of the PABSEC General Assembly, Progress Report of the Parliamentary Assembly and the Participation of the PABSEC representatives in international gatherings in the period July-November 2021. The Bureau took note of the information on the execution of the Budget of the Assembly. The Bureau approved the candidatures for the elections of the PABSEC Vice-Presidents at the Plenary Session. The Bureau also decided to appoint the elections of the PABSEC Deputy Secretary General in Charge of Administrative and Financial Matters within the framework of the 58th PABSEC General Assembly in November 2021. The Fifty-Seventh Meeting of the PABSEC Standing Committee approved the Minutes of the Fifty-Sixth Meeting, adopted the draft Agenda of the Fifty-Seventh Plenary Session of the General Assembly, approved the Progress Report of the Parliamentary Assembly and the proposals of the committees regarding the issues to be considered in the second half of 2021. The Standing Committee considered the letter of the President of the Assembly of the Republic of North Macedonia on full-fledged membership in the PABSEC and unanimously approved the proposal to present this issue at the Plenary Session. The members of the Standing Committee took note of the information on the participation of the PABSEC representatives in international gatherings in the period November 2020-June 2021.The Standing Committee also took note of the Auditing Report for the 2020 financial year, on the receipt of contributions to the 2021 Budget, and the Draft 2022 PABSEC Budget. The Standing Committee approved the amendments to the PABSEC Rules of Procedure and the Staff Regulations for the PABSEC International Secretariat.
