Meeting of the PABSEC Draft Budget and Auditing Commission, Istanbul, 16 February 2026
The meeting of the Draft Budget and Auditing Commission was held at the PABSEC International Secretariat on 16 February 2026. In accordance with the decision of the 66th PABSEC General Assembly, the Draft Budget and Auditing Commission was formed with the following composition: Mr. Musa Guliyev, member of the PABSEC Azerbaijani Delegation, Mr. Petar Kanev, PABSEC Vice-President and Head of the PABSEC Bulgarian Delegation, and Mr. Irakli Mezurnishvili, Head of the PABSEC Georgian Delegation. Mr. Eldar Guliyev, PABSEC Vice-President in charge of Financial Matters and Head of the PABSEC Azerbaijani Delegation, also participated in the work of the Commission. Mr. Asaf Hajiyev, PABSEC Secretary General and other members of the PABSEC International Secretariat assisted the members of the Commission in their work. Mr. Irakli Mezurnishvili, Head of the PABSEC Georgian Delegation, was elected Chairman of the Commission. The members of the Commission discussed the implementation of the PABSEC Budget in 2025 and adopted the Auditing Report. Taking into account the Budget Execution in 2025 and the international activities of the Assembly, the Draft Budget and Auditing Commission also prepared the Draft Budget for the 2027 Financial Year, which will be submitted to the Meeting of the Standing Committee within the framework of the 67th General Assembly in Georgia in June 2026.
