Visit of Mr. Mircea Lazar, Representative of the Romanian BSEC Chairmanship-in-Office, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Romania, to the PABSEC International Secretariat, Istanbul, 12 February 2020
On 12 February 2020, Mr. Mircea Lazar, Representative of the Romanian BSEC Chairmanship-in-Office, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Romania, visited the PABSEC International Secretariat and met with Mr. Asaf Hajiyev, PABSEC Secretary General. During the meeting, the PABSEC Secretary General informed the guest about the current and future activities of the Assembly and expressed the intention to enhance the cooperation with the BSEC and follow the priorities of the Romanian BSEC Chairmanship-in-Office in the activities of the PABSEC. The PABSEC Secretary General wished the BSEC, success during the Romanian Chairmanship-in-Office. Mr. Lazar informed on the current undertakings in the BSEC within the framework of the Romanian BSEC Chairmanship-in-Office and expressed the hope for strengthening cooperation between the BSEC and the PABSEC. It was noted that the Parliamentary Assembly is contributing to the development of multilateral cooperation, in the framework of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation. The meeting was also attended by Mr. Daniel Dulca, PABSEC Deputy Secretary General.
