Participation of Mr. Asaf Hajiyev, PABSEC Secretary General in the 6th OECD Parliamentary Days, Paris, 7-9 February 2018
Mr. Asaf Hajiyev, PABSEC Secretary General, participated in the 6th OECD Parliamentary Days, which took place in Paris, during 7-9 February 2018. This meeting was jointly organized by the OECD Global Parliamentary Network and the NATO Parliamentary Assembly with the participation of the Women Political Leaders Global Forum. This Forum brought together government officials, parliamentarians, members of the business community and the non-governmental organizations. During the two-day sessions, several panels were organized, where the participants debated on the following subjects: Multilateralism - bridging divides through international co-operation, Role of trade in inclusive growth, How the G20 is working towards a more inclusive world economy, Investing in climate and Tax transparency (tax challenges raised by the Digital economy). The 6th OECD Parliamentary Days represented an opportunity to explore areas for further cooperation among international actors in the priority fields of their activities.
