During 7 – 11 July 2018, the PABSEC Delegation composed of Mr. Otari Danelia, PABSEC Vice-President and Head of the PABSEC Georgian Delegation, Mr. Ramaz Nikolaishvili, Vice-Chairman of the PABSEC Legal and Political Affairs Committee and Member of the PABSEC Georgian Delegation, and Mr. Asaf Hajiyev, PABSEC Secretary General, participated in the 27th Annual Session of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE PA) held at the premisses of the German Bundestag, in Berlin.

Mr. Asaf Hajiyev, PABSEC Secretary General, participated in the 20th Annual Meeting of the Board of Governors of the Black Sea Trade and Development Bank (BSTDB), which took place in Sochi (Russian Federation) on 1 July 2018, under the Chairmanship of Mr. Sergey Storchak, BSTDB Governor for Russia and Deputy Minister of Finance of the Russian Federation.

During 23-25 June 2018, the PABSEC Delegation composed of Mr. Andrea Marto, PABSEC Vice-President and Head of the PABSEC Albanian Delegation, Mr. Musa Guliyev, Member of the PABSEC Azerbaijani Delegation, Mr. Ramaz Nikolaishvili, Member of the PABSEC Georgian Delegation and Mr. Asaf Hajiyev, PABSEC Secretary General, visited Ankara in the framework of the Monitoring Mission of the Presidential and Parliamentary elections in the Republic of Turkey.

On the second day, the Assembly discussed the Report on “Enhancing Cultural Cooperation and Multiculturalism in the BSEC Member States” and Recommendation 163/2018 on the same subject, and approved the documents prepared by the PABSEC Cultural, Educational and Social Affairs Committee on these issues.

The Fifty-First Plenary Session of the PABSEC General Assembly is being held in Tirana, on 20-21 June 2018, upon the invitation of the Parliament of the Republic of Albania. The Tirana Session is attended by the parliamentary delegations of Albania, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Bulgaria, Georgia, Greece, Moldova, Romania, Russia, Serbia, Turkey and Ukraine.

The meeting was preceded, on 13 June, by the Meeting of the BSEC Working Group on Cooperation in Tourism.
